Steps
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat on the stovetop, combine 1 tbsp of olive oil, the minced garlic, honey, and tamari; simmer for 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant and lightly bubbling, then remove from heat.
- Place the broccoli florets on one side of the baking sheet, toss with the remaining 1 tbsp olive oil, 0.25 tsp salt, and half the black pepper, then spread into an even layer.
- Arrange the salmon fillets skin-side down on the other side of the baking sheet, season with the remaining 0.25 tsp salt and black pepper, and brush generously with two-thirds of the warm glaze.
- Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 12 to 15 minutes, until the broccoli is tender-crisp and the salmon flakes easily with a fork or reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Drizzle the remaining honey-garlic glaze over the roasted salmon and broccoli.
- Divide the salmon fillets and broccoli among 4 plates and serve warm, garnished with toasted sesame seeds or sliced scallions if you like.
